Asian Counseling and Referral Service

The Asian Counseling and Referral Service promotes social justice and the well-being and empowerment of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders along with other underserved communities by developing, providing and advocating for community-based, multilingual and multicultural services. The Beyond Youth Mental Health (BYMH) project works with Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) youth, particularly Southeast Asian young men to develop the next generation of  AAPI civic leaders and policy makers who will disrupt dehumanizing systems that affect their health and wellbeing. The BYMH project, in partnership with the Southeast Seattle Education Coalition – a local education advocacy coalition – will use their network of schools and families to affect systems change and foster youth leaders..
