Brandie was born and raised in Huntsville, AL and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Auburn University, with a minor in Marketing. She is currently pursuing her MBA from the University of Phoenix. With nine years of experience in education, Brandie accepted a position as the Workforce Development Director for the Boys & Girls Clubs of North Alabama in January 2020. In August 2023, she transitioned to the role of Director of Teen Development, where she founded EmpowHer, a girls’ mentoring program in partnership with local female mentors and business owners. Brandie is also the proud mother of two children, Taryn (17) and Seth (9).
