Policy for Acknowledging Foundation Support

POLICY FOR ACKNOWLEDGING ROBERT WOOD JOHNSON FOUNDATION SUPPORT INCLUDING USE OF FOUNDATION NAME AND LOGO

The name, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF), the logo, variations, and type treatments of the Foundation name, are property of the Foundation, including but not limited to their use on such items as literature, signage, exhibits and displays, publications, interactive media, websites, joint publications, letterhead, news releases and announcements. Programs wishing to acknowledge RWJF support are required to use the following standard support statement: Support for this <program, conference, research, website, article, etc.> was provided <in part> by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The views expressed here do not necessarily reflect the views of the Foundation. Use of the Foundation’s logo is not allowed without express RWJF permission. Such permission shall be granted at the sole discretion of RWJF, based on such factors as the purpose for use and relationship being represented. All requests for permission to use the RWJF logo must be submitted to creativerequests@rwjf.org with copy to your RWJF program officer. If permission is granted, the Foundation logo must be reproduced in accordance with our RWJF Logo Usage Guidelines and with any additional instructions provided by the Foundation along with the appropriate logo files. We have updated these Guidelines recently, so please review them carefully. USE IN TEXT APPLICATIONS In text documents the name—Robert Wood Johnson Foundation—may be presented in different fonts and point sizes as long as each word is capitalized. The article “the” when used in front of the name is capitalized only at the beginning of a sentence. LINKING RWJF encourages grantees and other organizations to link to the Foundation’s website (rwjf.org). Use of the Foundation’s logo as part of that link requires permission.
